From lower intersection with the Blue Jay to the southernmost intersection with the Millwood Road. This segment has approx. two dozen drainage features, some brushing, and one creek crossing to maintain. From lower Millwood Road (559) crossing to Hamlin Reservoir (crossing of 559K). This segment has approx. two dozen drainage features and brushing. From 559K crossing to the upper Millwood Road (559) crossing. Primarily brushing, and a handful of drainage features. From the upper Millwood Road crossing to the Chicken Creek Road (385) crossing. This segment has two creek crossings and a handful of drainage features. From the Chicken Creek Road (385) crossing to the intersection with the Hamlin trail (end of Lost Chicken trail). This segment has a handful of drainage features and some brushing. From the Chicken Creek Trailhead to the lower Rush Creek crossing. This segment has a rocky section to maintain, brushing, a handful of drainage features and one creek crossing. Note that approx. .5 miles of this segment follows the Bauer Loops two-track, no adoption maintenance necessary on this section. From the intersection with the Rush Connector to the northern end of the trail (upper intersection with Lost Chicken). Note this includes the Blue Jay Connector. This segment has approx. two dozen drainage features and brushing. In spring, runoff can affect this trail segment and extra maintenance may be necessary. |
