Cancelled: Saturday, September 13th Trail Work

Due to a flash flood warning starting tonight and thunderstorms forecasted for Saturday, we're cancelling Saturday's trail work day. We also want to avoid damaging trail tread by leaving tracks. See you next month!

From Mancos:
Head North on Hwy 184 0.3mi
Turn Right onto CR42 5.3mi
Continue straight onto FS561 2.3mi
Look for the Mancos Trails Group banner on your left at FS416

Details: Bring sturdy shoes, gloves, pants, 2+liters of water and snacks and a chair. The plan is to work on drainage and light brushing along the Upper Chicken Creek Trail. This will involve hiking about two miles to and from the trailhead.
